Awesome TV. This TV is by far exceeded my expectations. Initially I wanted to Samsung, but was out of my reach. The only real difference I noticed between them, now that their own lack of network functions before the image is just as good. Someone said that sometimes the TV will be very dark during some scenes of the film, which did not get software updates from the site of Sony.

For the price you certainly can not beat the quality and supplied iPod dock made it even better. The picture quality is very good and the sound is loud and clear. I mounted on the wall of my office and looks great.

Amazon Inventory Exhibition "Analog Audio Output: Yes, but this is only an HDTV SPDIF (digital) output - so forget to join a nice set of PC speakers. It would not be so bad, but the built-in audio quality speakers' is terrible. Another sound problem is that if you use HDMI, speakers will only play with 2-channel PCM audio sources. So if you have a device as an NMT (Networked Media Tank) and you play a movie with sound AC3 or AAC, nothing comes out of this TV. The sound is definitely a weak point, so you might consider a low cost amplifier and speakers for sound.

Due to the nature of Sony’s rather proprietary product range, even their entry-level products offer high-end features that other entry-level competitors won’t even think of including. Therefore, while the Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 is not one of Sony’s higher-end models, it still is able to include 120Hz processing and a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1. Aside from the technical specifications it helps that the V5100 series offers solid performance and plenty of features, adding even more bang for your buck.
